Who Is Dawn Conte?
Hi everyone!! My name is Dawn Conte, fitness professional.
As a competitive and professional figure skater and coach for 25 years, diet and exercise was an integral part of my training.
My own fitness journey began after retiring from figure skating with a myriad of injuries and poor nutrition habits. I had taken a year off from physical activity and realized that lack of movement and commitment to my health and wellness left me unmotivated and purposeless.
I joined a gym as functional fitness began gaining popularity. I began studying and applying functional training strategies to my own workouts and within six months was feeling and moving better than I had in years. This transformation of mind and body was my motivation to become a certified fitness coach. I am inspired by the journey one takes from injury or illness, from a state of triviality, to a state of conviction, strength, and purpose. Fitness can be measured by numbers (those on the scale, body measurements, amount of weight lifted, running speed, time spent in the gym) but ultimately fitness is about feeling strong, confident, and fully prepared to tackle the challenges life poses. Everyone has the ability to become the best version of themselves. I take tremendous pride in helping a client achieve a goal whether it is their first push up or taking the stairs without pain or shortness of breath!
I have several years of experience coaching individuals and groups of all ages and skill levels achieve overall health, wellness, conditioning, and weight loss goals. I offer personalized workouts and nutrition plans that meet YOUR needs and goals.
